Dirty South TV is proud to announce the following updates for season 5 of The Acoustic Lunch Hour!
Location: The Acoustic Lunch Hour will air Season 5 LIVE from The Dixie Tavern in Marietta, Georgia on Wednesdays from 12:00-2:00 P.M. EST.
Filming and editing: Dirty South TV is teaming up with Atlanta’s premiere video, motion graphics and character animation company- Tangerine Hero!
Show Host: Dirty South TV will begin its search this week!
More about The Acoustic Lunch Hour:
The Acoustic Lunch Hour was actually Dirty South TV’s first live music television show concept. It was conceived to be on Giuseppe’s Dad’s back porch in Marietta, Georgia. Season 1 ended up being in Atlanta vocal powerhouse Liz Lee’s living room in Stockbridge, Georgia (look up Liz Lee Music). Artists from all over the U.S. came to be on the show and often stayed at Liz Lee’s home for a few days. Many meals were shared from The Bake Break’s (Liz Lee’s) kitchen, and many artist’s/bands loads of laundry were done as well-to help them get to their next stop with clean, fresh clothes.
The Acoustic Lunch Hour was Dirty South TV’s second live music television show to come to fruition and begin airing and its second most successful-with a fan-base spread over 188 different countries! Featuring Mainly acoustic instruments with singing, it gained a very large, very loyal audience very quickly. Think of an unplugged live music television show or concert and you’ll have a good idea of what The Acoustic Lunch Hour brings to music fans all over the world.
The Acoustic Lunch Hour has had artists and bands come from all over the U.S. to be on the show.
After The Acoustic Lunch Hour’s initial season, it has had sets in a couple famous live music venues, such as Darwin’s Blues and Steve’s Live Music. It also has a set in Dirty South TV’s first TV Studio, which was in Marietta, Georgia.
The Dixie Tavern
As many of you already know, Dirty South TV and The Dixie Tavern have a long and successful history together, whether covering live concerts or live music television show seasons, Dirty South TV has claimed The Dixie Tavern as its “Home Club,” or “Home Live Music Venue.”
Season 5 of Dirty South TV’s Acoustic Lunch Hour will resume live with Episode 1 on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024 from 12:00-2:00 P.M. EST. Look for Live TV 1 on DirtySouthTV.Com and there’s rumors that ‘some limited live footage’ will also air live on the Dirty South TV Facebook page, the Dirty South TV Tik Tok page, the Dirty South TV YouTube page and possibly additional social media websites as well.
Booking for Season 5 will open up on Monday August 26th, 2024. More than likely Season 5 will fully book up with a waiting list-all 12 (or more) Episodes by the end of business on that same day.
