Episode 1 of The Electric Lunch Hour launches into Season 5 like a rocket!
Here’s the band: The RBBR Project (Ryan Boss Barry Richman Project)
Ryan Boss
Ryan Boss started playing the guitar at the age of 14 when his parents were going through a divorce. The loudness of the guitar was his way of drowning out the noise of the world around him. The passion and feeling behind the blues and rock and roll always resonated with him. He started writing songs and playing out in his early 20s. His soulful voice, lyrics and guitar playing often reflect his influences in a way that is uniquely his. After taking some time off from playing music, he is back doing what he does best and this time he’s on a mission. He is here to play his heart out every night!
Barry Richman
Barry Richman is an Atlanta transplant from Mew York. He can often be seen performing his psychedelic blend of original music all over the Southeast. Traveling from one venue to the next festival or concert, leaving a following of fans and a crowd of locals hypnotized, mesmerized, and in awe with the lull of his melodious free sounding, rockin’ guitar…”sounds that make your blood start to flow”.
Richman’s original tunes are brilliantly written and exquisitely played. His first CD, The Moment of Now (Amgems Records) contains masterfully written songs like Mr. Jimi and Thank You Jeff, paying homage to Jimi Hendrix and Jeff Beck. An eleven track CD blended to perfection and mastered by Jim Gaines known for producing Santana and Stevie Ray Vaughan. (Verbiage mostly by Charlotte Davies)
Joel Edwards
Joel Edwards is an accomplished musician that is very well versed on a plethora of musical instruments. He even has an album out that he played multiple rolls in both sides of the recording process.
In The Barry Richman Band, Joel mainly plays Bass, Keys and some vocals too!
Joel is also an accomplished audio and video engineer. He is a band’s best utility knife for sure.
Bill Diehl
Bill Diehl is an accomplished Atlanta drummer that has been with the Barry Richman Band for around 20 years now. Bill has the uncanny ability to multi task while playing drums solidly in-time, never missing a beat. Never too much, always just right. Bill is a rock solid drummer that could get on stage with anyone and hold it down perfectly.
The RBRB Project will undoubtedly perform a monster Blues, Blues-Rock, Rock, Southern Rock, Funk originals-based set that will set the tone for the rest of The Electric Lunch Hour season!
