Tori Cook

Tori Cook

Tori Cook from Charleston, South Carolina moves to Atlanta in 2020. Fast forward to Friday, August 11th, 2024 when Tori was at a local Guitar Center testing out a new guitar and hears about the Lefty Williams Open Jam at Bella’s Pizza in Smyrna, Georgia. Goes to the jam to just to check it out. Ends up on stage with a borrowed guitar from Lefty Williams himself-and SLAYS some blues! Tori had the crowd cheering and clapping as she worked over Lefty’s guitar and pedal board!

A little about Tori Cook:
Born in Sumter, South Carolina, Tori is a self taught Guitarist/Electric Violinist/Vocalist who picked up her first guitar at 10 years old and her first violin at 13 years old! Tori is not only a self taught blues/rock/indie musician-but also a self taught song writer too!
Tori is in recovery and is 100% convinced that music has saved her life.
I have a funny feeling that Tori Cook, through her music-will save other’s lives as well.

There we’re other very bright spots throughout the night, the first two that come to mind are: Stephen Cox on Bass guitar, George Price on Lead guitar and Rhythm guitar, Landon Twilley on Lead guitar, Jason Lamarca on Drums and Christopher Jefferson on Keys performed Billy Cobham’s “Stratus,” and my goodness was it an awesome version! They blew the roof off of the place! The biggest crowd response of the night was for that performance, followed by Tori Cook and ZPHR.

Also, ZPHR (Za-Feer) performed Radiohead’s “Creep,” and one of his original Zphrisms songs “Damn Wrong,” and also blew the roof off the place!

Oh yeah, the night started with Lefty and company performing a few Hendrix songs! That’s how the night got going!
